Global Law Office, as the first law office in China to offer legal services on matters involving external economic relations after China's reforms and opening to the outside world. It has been in service since 1979. It initially started its legal service under the name of the Legal Counsel Office of CCPIT(China Council for the promotion of International Trade). It was renamed as China Global Law Office in 1984 with the approval of the Ministry of Justice and got its current name in 1996 at the decree of the Ministry of Justice.
