Maritime Communications Services Private Limited is an Accounting Authority (AA) with Accounting Authority Identification Code (AAIC): RS06. We strive to offer the best service to our customers in the traffic accounting arena so that we can be the preferred AA in the near future.

As with other AAs, RS06 provides billing services for your ships and land mobiles throughout the world. When you appoint us to be the AA for your ships and land mobiles, arrangements will be made with the relevant Point of Service Activation (PSA) to change your existing AA to RS06. This could apply to the change of AA, or the registration of RS06 as the AA for a new ship or land mobile. The PSA concerned will then commission your ship or land mobile and inform Inmarsat London accordingly through the fully automated Electronic Service Activation System (ESAS). Inmarsat London will then broadcast the updated information to all the service providers (i.e. Land Earth Stations) in the world, so that the bills for the mobile stations will be correctly dispatched and settled.

When traffic calls are made by your mobile stations, the call details will be forwarded to the AA, i.e. RS06. We will then collate all the bills from the various LESs through which the calls were made, and then forward these bills to you, our valued customer, for settlement on a monthly basis.
